Campground and Pay Pit Rules:
I commit, along with my spouse/domestic partner, my children, or my guest/visitors, to abide by Springhill Campground and Pay Pit rules. I acknowledge that my right to use the camp site is granted as a licensed agreement and does not constitute a lease agreement, acknowledging that I do not acquire any property interest or tenancy rights. I hereby attest that all information provided, including but not limited to name, address, and group size, is accurate and valid. I understand that any false information may fully result in legal action of the law.
Staying Rules and Limits:
-The speed limit is 5 MPH anywhere in the campground and trail areas.
-Each campsite allows for a maximum of 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18 per reservation.
-Exceeding this occupancy is prohibited.
-Any additional campers must require their own reservation and/or an available spot.
-Violation of this occupancy limit may result in additional charges, eviction from site, and other actions deemed necessary by management.
-Please see rules for guest/visitors.
Animal Rules and Responsibility:
-All animals must be securely leashed at all times.
-This does mean that one end of the leash is always in your hand while walking your pet and the other end attached to your pet.
-This does include your campsite area unless the animals are securely fenced in.
-When leashing your pet your pet must be secured to an object heavy enough to prevent them from dragging it.
-All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations, and owners will be asked to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
-If your pet is found to be a persistent disruptor or poses a threat, alternative housing outside the campground for your pet may be required.
-As a pet owner you are responsible to cleaning up after your pet as soon as the deed is done.
Quiet Hours:
-Sunday through Thursday 10PM to 8AM.
-Friday and Saturday 12 midnight to 8AM.
-4-wheeler/Razors/SXS hours are 8AM to 10PM daily.
Holiday Quiet Hours:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 2AM-8AM
Campfires:
-All campfires must be contained in the designated fire rings.
-Never leave a campfire unattended at any time.
-Flames must not exceed two feet in height or bigger width of the fire ring.
-All fires must be fully extinguished when done.
-Campfires must be wood fires only, no trash or Styrofoam or plastic in fire rings.
-Please do not take firewood from anywhere on our property or OTHER campsites, it can be purchased at the bait shop.
Vehicles and Parking:
SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH ANYWHERE IN THE CAMPGROUND, TRAILS, AND AROUND THE PAY LAKE.
-Only licensed drivers will be allowed to drive any motorized vehicles on the campground property.
-Any motorized vehicle of any kind must be in proper working condition and have lights to operate after dark.
-All owners of all motorized vehicles will need to provide proof of insurance before you drive it at Springhill Campground and Pay Pit.
-Seasonal campers will need their lot number on three sides of the vehicle in three-inch letters.
-Chargers must be plugged into your own lots electrical.
-All motorized vehicles are a privilege we allow; any abuse of our rules may revoke your privileges to drive them on campground premises.
-Each campsite is allowed to have two vehicles.
-All vehicles must be parked within their specified site limits, ensuring compliance with campground regulations, and avoiding any encroachment onto neighboring sites.
-No parking is permitted on any other site or area other than your reserved site. Unless otherwise you have permission from your neighboring lot to do so.
-No parking of commercial vehicles on the premises without management approval.
-No parking of unsightly or damaged vehicles permitted on the campsite premises that can not be moved or be mobile within 24 hours.
-The operation of any motorized vehicles, including golf carts, 4-wheelers, razors, SXS etc, being intoxicated on drugs, or any impairing substance within the campground and trails are prohibited.
-By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and consent to the right of Springhill Campground and Pay Pit to tow any vehicle, recreational vehicle (RV), trailer, or similar item if the camper(s) and or guest(s) are in violation of park rules, parked on unauthorized sites or areas, or remaining on the premises beyond the reservation end date.
-This action may be taken at the owner’s expense, in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
Safety and Conduct:
-Any and all behavior that may reasonably be deemed to endanger the safety or well-being of oneself or others will result in immediate removal from the premises and the imposition of fines, along with no refund.
-Firearms allowed only with a valid carry permit.
-No fireworks permitted in the campground.
Pay Pit:
There is a pay pit located on the north end of the property.
-No swimming or ice skating in the pay pit.
-All minors must be always supervised by an adult in the pay pit area.
-Individuals under 18 years of age are required to wear life jackets around Pay Pit.
-Adults or guardians can sign a waiver of denial to refuse to force their minor to wear life jacket.
-Life jackets are provided free of charge to wear unless you sign the waiver of denial.
-Life jackets will be located at bait shop when you get your fishing pass.
Prohibition of Commercial Activity:
-Engaging in any form of commercial activity within the campground is prohibited.
-This encompasses, but is not limited to, the preparation for commercial work, cleaning, or maintenance of tools or equipment, storage of business-related materials, and any other activities that may reasonably be interpreted as commercial in nature.
-This includes the use of the campground or it’s facilities for the execution or facilitation of business tasks, whether directly or indirectly.
-Violations of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the campground.
Littering:
-The campground enforces a strict zero tolerance policy regarding littering.
-All waste must be properly disposed of in designated receptacles.
-Any person found littering on the premises will be subject to a fine determined by campground management.
-Bagged trash only in our dumpsters.
-Any household items or construction materials will need to be cleared with management first.
-No dumping of anything on campground property.
-Dumpsters are intended for residents and campers only.
-Not to be used for mattresses, furniture, or outside debris, batteries, tires, electronics, etc. Please bring boxes to the owner’s hill and we will take care of the boxes.
-Let management know if they see strange vehicles illegally dumping.
Supervision of Minors:
-All children under the age of ten must always be under constant supervision by a parent or guardian while playing, riding bicycles, using common areas, or engaging in any activities within the campground premises.
-The campground assumes no responsibility for the safety or supervision of children.
-Parents or guardians are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and appropriate behavior of their children.
-All toys and play items must be kept within the bounds of your assigned campsite and must not be left on roads or on the sites of other guests.
-Any items found outside of your campsite may be removed by campground staff.
-The campground is not responsible for lost or removed items.
Additional Guest or Visitors:
-The reservation is valid for the number of guests specified at the time of booking your reservation.
-Any additional guests beyond the stated limit are not permitted without prior approval and may result in additional charges or the cancellation of the reservation.
-Guest fees only apply if the guest stays in your RV with you, otherwise it is full camping price.
-Guest not paying to stay overnight need to be out of the campground by 11PM
-Any guest caught swimming, fishing, or staying past 11PM without paying first will be asked to leave the park. If they are asked more than once they will be banned from entering the campground permanently.
-Individually named guests may be added to your seasonal for $100.00 per adult and $25.00 per child concurrent with your seasonal.
-The total nights for your lot will still not be able to exceed 70 nights for seasonals.
Propane:
-Please stay in your cars if waiting for tanks to be filled or stay back 25 feet from the dispensing center.
-No smoking allowed within the 25 foot radius of the dispensing center.
-You can always leave tanks at the dispensing center, then proceed to the bait shop to make your payment. We will deliver tanks to your campsite by the end of the day.
-Please make sure your tanks are labeled with your lot # and your name.
Damage to Property:
-If any damage is caused to any property or equipment in the community by the camper, by negligence, misuse, or intent, or by that of his/her family, visitors, or any agent of the camper, the camper shall be responsible for the damage.
-The damage shall be measured by the restoration or replacement cost resulting from the act.
-The cost to cure such damage shall be considered additional site rent and charged directly to the camper.
Vandalism:
-Vandalism will not be tolerated.
-If caught tearing up property or attempting to you will be immediately asked to leave and cost of damage will be sought from the accountable parties.
-This includes but is not limited to destruction of property, graffiti on anything, trees, woods, trails, port o pots, picnic tables, vehicles, water supplies, electrical boxes, playground, restrooms, pool area, and pay pit areas.
Loitering:
-Loitering is prohibited in all public areas, including but not limited to trash disposal areas, bathhouses, public buildings, swimming pools, pay pit, main roadways, other camper’s sites, and vacant sites.
-This prohibition extends to loitering in person or in a vehicle, particularly if such
loitering disrupts traffic flow or interferes with the normal use of the road in any
way.
-This policy is enforced to ensure the comfort and safety of all campers.
-Idling in a vehicle, whether on a campsite, off a campsite, on the road, or anywhere
else on the property, is prohibited.
-This includes instances where vehicle headlights are on and may cause a disturbance
to other campers or fisherman.
Pricing Policy:
Springhill Campground and Pay Pit reserves the right to adjust pricing at its
discretion, and such adjustments may be implemented at any time during the license
term.
-Notice of any price changes will be provided to the camper prior to their billing cycle.
Nature’s Whims and Refunds:
-Sorry, but Mother Nature’s mood swings does not get you a refund.
-Our cancellation and refund policy varies based on when you let us know you cannot
make it.
-All are detailed in our cancellation policy.
Age and Booking:
-To book a campsite, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid ID or driver’s license. A copy of
ID or driver's license will be kept on file.
Check-in and Check-out:
-Check-In after 2 PM; Check-out before 11AM.
-Early Check-ins prior to 2PM will incur a prorated hourly fee based on the nightly rate.
-Late Check-outs past 11AM will incur a prorated hourly fee based on the nightly rate.
Hunting:
-Hunting, in any form, is prohibited on the premises, and any infringement will lead to
the immediate termination of your reservation, with involving the local law
enforcement.
Site Integrity:
-Physical alterations to the site, or anywhere on the premises, are prohibited.
-This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, any hard piping, decks, porches, built
steps, or other forms of physical modification to the campsite or surrounding areas,
unless approved by management.
-All campsites and amenities must remain in their original condition as provided.
-No fasteners of any kind in any tree.
-No attaching anything to trees including lights, per the STATE BOARD OF HEALTH.
Snow:
-While main roads will be regularly plowed for accessibility, it is the camper’s
responsibility to clear and maintain their individual campsite from snow and ensure
safe passage within their immediate camping area.
-Campers are encouraged to exercise caution and take necessary actions to address
snow around their campsite.
Recreational Responsibilities:
-When partaking in activities understand your abilities.
-We expect you to avoid causing ruckus, or injury to yourself or others.
-Use of the playground, trails, fishing, and other facilities on the property is at the
user’s own risk.
Early Departures from Weekly or Monthly stays:
-In the event of early departure there is no refund.
-In limited circumstances, the camper acknowledges and agrees that the service
provided reserves the right to retroactively charge the camper for the actual days
stayed at the daily rate associated with their site.
Serious Liability:
-By being here, you are releasing Springhill Campground and Pay Pit and our staff
from any claims arising from injuries, unexpected encounters with wildlife of any kind.
Indemnification:
-If you, your family, or guests run into mishaps, you agree Springhill Campground is not
responsible. We strive to make the campground secure, please remember to lock up
and secure personal items and valuables to keep them safe.
RV Parking Assistance:
-Should you need assistance parking your RV, our staff might guide you, but ensure
you’re repositioned without causing a scene or taking out any trees or objects.
-Any mishaps during this process are on you.
Drivability Requirements:
-All RV’s and campers must be capable of being driven or towed by the owner within 24 hours’ notice.
-We do not accept RV or camper drop-offs or arrivals by commercial drivers unless
approved by management.
Our Campground and Pay Pit, Our Rules:
-Campground management reserves the right to request a guest to leave at any time
and for any reason we deemed necessary, including but not limited to violations of
of campground rules, disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with management
and staff instructions.
-Such decisions are final, and they are not negotiable.
-We reserve the right to amend our rules at any time.
-No fighting of any kind or you will be banned with no refund.
Payments and Outstanding Dues:
-You are expected to clear your reservation cost before check-in date or as informed.
-All billing is in advance of the coming week or month’s stay.
-In the event of delinquent payment, the camper is obliged to vacate the premises immediately.
-In the event of a delinquent payment, if the camper is to remain on the campground,
the camper agrees to provide a valid secondary source of payment.
-In the event of a delinquent payment, a late fee of $25.00 will be imposed until the outstanding amount is settled in full.
Violations of Rules and Fines:
-We reserve the right to charge a fine for all rule violations.
-This applies to all provisions outlined in this document.
-Fines must be paid within 48 hours.
Assignment Agreement:
-I acknowledge that my license is exclusive to me. I shall not assign this license or sublet the premises in whole or in part.
-Platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, or any similar services are prohibited.
-Any violation will lead to immediate termination of this agreement and potential legal action.
Campsite Cleanliness & Care:
-You must maintain your campsite in a neat and orderly fashion, or we will clean it up for you, if we must clean your campsite we will charge you a fee accordingly.
-No permanent clothes lines. No outside clothing racks, whether for drying or display are prohibited.
-You are responsible for ensuring your campsite is free of debris, garbage, unused items, or any unsightly objects.
-Upon departure your campsite must reflect the same condition as its initial state upon your arrival,
-This means cleaning from debris, garbage, and cleaning up from your pet.
-All trash shall find its way to the designated dumpsters.
-Should the campsite not meet the cleanliness guidelines, Springhill Campground management reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee deemed fit to be reflected of the level of mess or damage found.
- All damage, whether minor or significant must be reported immediately. This applies to any harm caused by myself or accompanying children, guests, visitors, and pets.
-Failure to report damages will reflect in appropriate charges after a detailed assessment made by management.
Firearms and Explosives Restrictions:
-Firearms and weapons, including but not limited to air rifles, guns, bows, arrows, fireworks, paint balls, and any explosives are not allowed to be used anywhere on campground property or to be displayed anywhere anytime.
-In the event of non-compliance, your stay will be immediately terminated, and we may be compelled to engage local law enforcement.
Camper Unit Restrictions:
-There will not be an age limit/requirement on camper unit age.
-Camper units/RV’s cannot be towed in, or held together with rachet straps or cables, duct tape or zip ties.
-There shall be no tarps of any kind or plastic covering up your camper/RV.
-In the event of Mother Nature if your camper is damaged or destroyed, we can assist in the removal and disposal of the unit. Fees will apply.
No Waiver:
-The decision by Springhill Management not to insist on strict compliance with these terms and conditions shall not be deemed a waiver of any such terms and conditions, a waiver of the right to subsequently enforce such terms and conditions or a waiver of any rights or remedies possessed by Springhill Campground herein.
Changes to Rules and Regulations:
-These rules and regulations may be amended, supplemented, revised, or modified at any time deemed necessary by Springhill Management. I, along with my family and guests, agree to accept and abide by the revised terms and conditions without the need for explicit consent or notification.
Eviction:
-In the event of eviction from Springhill Campground for any reason, the evicted individual or group shall be permanently banned from returning to or re-entering the premises.
Cancelation Policy:
-No refunds due to the discomforts of Mother Nature. This policy applies regardless of unforeseen circumstances, including covid-19 and or government forced illnesses.
-No refunds due to the discomforts of nature. This includes but not limited to the racoons that come to visit, or the geese flying over, or animals of nature making noise during the night, and yes even your tent campers decision to reenact a Broadway musical at dusk or dawn. Remember it is all part of your camping adventure.
-While our standard policy is no refund due to unforeseen circumstances, including pandemics, should the government-mandated lockdowns or travel bans making it impossible for you to get here, we will collaborate with you to find the best possible solution. Whether it be credit, a reschedule, or even a heartfelt rain check.
Refund Policy:
-Refunds are not given for weather events, early departures, acts of nature, evictions, or issues beyond the campground’s control.
-Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.
Change Policy:
Outside Cancellation window (24 hours before reservation check in time)
-First time change No fee
-Subsequent changes to the $15.00 service fee.
-Inside cancellation window: No changes to reservation allowed. Defining a change: A change refers to the adjustment of one’s reservation details such as adding/subtracting days or swapping campsites.
Payment Policy:
-At booking full payment is due. We accept all major credit cards.
-Declined/charged back payments will invoke the cancellation policy.
-We aim to process refunds swiftly.
No Show Policy:
-Reservations are held till midnight of the day of arrival date or unless approved by management.
Natural Disaster Clause:
-The policy may be amended if
-A severe weather warning (blizzard, hurricane, storm) is announced in the campground area within 48 hours of reservation.
-Mandatory evacuation is declared, causing prolonged closure of camp.
Swimming and Pool Policy:
-Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult meaning someone over the age of 18.
-All people entering the pool area need to be paid as a camper, a swimmer, or a camping guest in advance.
-No swimming alone
-No swimming in the pool area after dark.
-No glass bottles, cups, or glass of any kind allowed at the swimming pool, inside the fence or outside of the fence.
- All swimmers must sign in at the bait shop. Guests must pay in advance.
-Swimmers must have proper swimming attire to swim. This means a proper swimsuit, no cutoff jeans, no shorts, no cut off sweatpants, etc. If you need a swimsuit we have them for sale in the bait shop.
Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement:
-Springhill Campground and Pay Pit will not be liable for any damage, loss, or injury to any person or property within the campground and pay pit. By entering you, your family, and your guest/visitors using any facilities and any amenities of the campground and pay pit, the camper, the guests/visitors, and camper’s family agree to the following terms.
-Assumption of risk: the campers, the camper’s family, guest/visitors acknowledge and accept that camping and all related activities involved inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury (such as bee sting, bug bites, falling down etc.), property damage (including but not limited to mother nature), and loss. The risks campers, campers’ families, guest and visitors, or any other agents involved with the campers assume all risks associated with the use of the campground, pay pit, and its facilities and amenities.
-Release of Liability: The campers, camper’s family, guests, and visitors involved with the campground, herby release, waive, and discharge the campground, campground staff, management, volunteers, and it’s owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by the camper, campers’ family, guest, or visitors, or any of their property, while participating in activities or using any facilities at the campground or pay lake.
- Indemnification: The campers agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the campground, campground staff, volunteers, management, and owners from and against any and all claims damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including lawyer fees, arising out of or resulting from the camper, campers’ family, guest, or visitors use of the campground, pay pit, facilities and amenities or any act or omission of the camper, campers’ family, guest, or visitors, or any other agents of the campground.
-Damage to Property:
The campers are solely responsible for any and all damage to their RV’s, vehicles including but not limited to all motorized vehicles, or other personal property while on the campground or pay pit premises. The campground shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by weather, falling trees, branches, wildlife, theft, vandalism, or any other cause.
-Medical Emergencies: In the event of any type of medical emergency, the campers acknowledge that the campground may not have immediate medical facilities or personnel available. The campers assume all responsibility for obtaining necessary medical care and release the campground, campground staff, management, and owners from any and all liability related to the delay or absence of care.
-Compliance with Rules: The campers, campers’ family, guests, and visitors agree to comply with all campground rules and regulations. Failure to comply with Springhill Campground and Pay pit rules and regulations may result in termination of the camper’s reservation without a refund.
-By entering the campground, trails, and pay pit the camper, campers’ family, guest or visitors acknowledge that they and their family, guest, and visitors involved with the campers have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement.
